Domestic to Udaipur

From either New Delhi airport or Mumbai a domestic flight duration is approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes

Domestic airlines such as Air India, IndiGo, SpiceJet, GoAir and Vistara are common ones to get from either international airport.

Please bear in mind, the baggage allowance differs between domestic and international flights

By Train

Udaipur has its own railway station, which is well-connected to major cities in India. However, if you are coming from overseas, it's recommended to take a train from Delhi, Mumbai or Jaipur, which are well-connected to Udaipur. The train journey takes approximately 12-15 hours (you can even go via a sleeper train), depending on the train you choose.

One month before the wedding date we will be reaching out to all guests who are attending to confirm their arrival details so that we can arrange minibuses/taxis from either Udaipur airport or Udaipur train/bus station.  

Visa

    • All overseas travellers (including children) need to apply for an Indian eVisa
    • The eVisa application process can be completed entirely online, without the need for an in-person appointment at the Visa Application Centre.
    • Applicants can fill out the online application form, upload their documents, and pay the fee online.
    • Apply specifically for the e-tourist visa. 
    • The eVisa is typically processed within 1 week but please apply at least 2 weeks in advance to ensure you get it in time.

Golden Triangle

The Golden Triangle tour is one of the most popular and classic tours in India, covering the three most iconic cities of North India - Delhi, Agra, and Jaipur. Here is a suggested itinerary for a Golden Triangle tour that starts in Udaipur and ends in New Delhi:

Day 1: Udaipur to Jaipur

Start your journey by driving from Udaipur to Jaipur. In Jaipur, visit the City Palace, Hawa Mahal, and Jantar Mantar. Explore the vibrant markets of Jaipur and try the local cuisine.

Day 2: Jaipur Sightseeing
